Free Consultation 

If you are interested in learning more about utilizing my services, I offer a free consultations. This gives us a chance to get to know one another and for you to ask me any questions you may have.

On-Call

As your doula, I will be available for unlimited phone, text, and email support as you prepare for your birth. I will be on-call for you 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning at 37 weeks until the birth of your child. When I am on-call  I do not travel and I am ready to join you when you are ready for in-person labor support.

Prenatal Education

My doula support includes a choice of in-person group prenatal classes ( 12 hours of instruction) or private classes ( 9 hours of instruction). Schedule a consultation for more information. â€‹â€‹

During Labor 

I provide continuous physical and emotional support to you and your partner. This includes making sure that you both eat and stay hydrated, nap and rest when possible, stay positive and motivated. I utilize several types of labor techniques and supply comfort measures including:

  • Birthing ball

  • Positioning

  • Rebozo

  • Aromatherapy

  • Breathing Methods

  • Visualization

  • Hot & Cold Compresses

  • Music

  • Hydrotherapy

  • Hypnotherapy

  • Counter pressure

  • Meditation

Immediate Postpartum Support 

I provide support after the birth for 2 hours to care for you during the "Golden Hour" and assist with the baby's first feeding. If you desire to breastfeed I can assist with positioning and achieving a good latch. I will be available for phone support after the birth for any questions or concerns you may have. 

3 Postpartum Appointments 

Your first postpartum visit  is scheduled within 24-48 hours of your delivery or of your baby arriving home. The second appointment is scheduled 1 week later. The third appointment is virtual. We will discuss your feelings about your birth experience, as well as how you and your family are adjusting to your new addition. Subjects frequently discussed include lactation support, nutrition, physical comfort, and the emotional journey you have taken as a new parent. 

As a Doula, I  Do Not:

Perform any clinical tasks

Make decisions for you 

Speak to the staff on your behalf

Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience
